Part C is an alternative to Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) and is offered by private insurance companies.
It typically includes all the benefits of Parts A and B and often includes prescription drug coverage (Part D) and additional services like dental and vision.

Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage):

Part D is a standalone prescription drug plan offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare.
It helps cover the costs of prescription medications.
